REDUCE

Our goal is sustainable production, in harmony with nature. This means, among other things, that we actively work to avoid waste and use production techniques that conserve resources. This includes, for example, reducing our water consumption by recycling water and using rainwater. We primarily use solar energy. Of course, we produce in accordance with environmental laws and regulations.

REUSE

With a little creativity, our candle jars can be reused in many different ways - and we'll show you how!

Cleaning tips for the candle glass

  • Let the candle burn until about 1 centimeter of wax remains at the bottom of the candle.

  • Pour water into a pot large enough for the candle jar and then place the jar in the water. Please place never the candle glass in the oven or microwave, as this could break the glass!

  • Slowly heat the water to melt any remaining wax. Once the wax has melted, use a spoon to remove it from the jar

  • Be careful when taking the glass out of the water so you don't burn yourself!

  • The melted wax under no circumstances down the drain! You can either pour the wax residue into a wax melting container for further use, or into a container that can then be thrown in the trash. Please also throw the remaining wick in the trash

  • Soak the glass in warm soapy water for about 24 hours, the label can then be easily removed

  • Last labels and wax residues can be removed with the help of a brush or sponge

  • Then let the glass air dry or dry it with a cloth.

RECYCLING

Most of our packaging is recyclable. However, recycling guidelines vary depending on where you live, so please check your local regulations before throwing away packaging.

To recycle glass, it is separated into clear, green and brown glass. Farm to Aromatherapy TM Glass products are classified in the amber glass category. In some places, glass recycling is not possible, which is why we recommend reusing our glass bottles in your own home. Check out our blog for some great ideas!
